Frequently Asked Questions
About Habits
- What is Habits?
- Habits is a health tracking app built for people on GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro. We combine medication tracking, AI-powered nutrition and workout planning, and habit coaching into one simple system designed to help you build sustainable results.
- Who is Habits for?
- It's designed for anyone on a GLP-1 journey, people rebuilding healthy habits, and busy individuals who want a simpler way to stay consistent with nutrition, movement, and recovery.
- When is the app launching?
- We're launching on the App Store and Google Play soon. Join the waitlist to get notified the moment we go live — early signups also get priority access and special pricing.
- Do I need to be on a GLP-1 medication to use Habits?
- No. While we built Habits with GLP-1 users in mind, the AI nutrition, workout, and habit features work for anyone trying to build a healthier routine.
Features & AI
- What does the AI actually do?
- The AI plans your meals around your goals and preferences, builds workouts that fit your time and ability, logs food from a photo or short description, and reviews your habits to tell you what's working and what to adjust. It's there to make decisions easier — not to add more for you to track.
- Can I log food without weighing or scanning barcodes?
- Yes. You can take a photo of your meal or describe it in plain English, and the AI will work out portions and macros for you.
- Do I have to follow the AI's plan exactly?
- Not at all. Plans are suggestions you can swap, edit, or ignore. The AI adapts based on what you actually do, not what it told you to do.
- Does Habits work offline?
- Core tracking works offline and syncs once you're back online. AI features (meal photos, plan generation, insights) need an internet connection.
GLP-1 & Medical
- Which GLP-1 medications does Habits support?
- Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda, Rybelsus, and other common GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP medications. You can set your dose, schedule, and titration plan in the app.
- Does Habits give medical advice?
- No. Habits is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations. Always speak with your healthcare provider about your medication, dose changes, or side effects.
- Can I track side effects?
- Yes. You can log side effects with severity ratings so you can spot patterns and share them with your doctor. If you ever experience severe symptoms, seek immediate medical care.
- Will Habits help me keep weight off after stopping medication?
- That's one of the core reasons we built it. The habit, nutrition, and movement systems are designed to help you maintain results long after a course of medication ends.
Connected Health & Devices
- Which health platforms does Habits connect with?
- At launch, Habits is being built to connect with Apple Health and Apple Watch on iOS, and Google Fit and Wear OS on Android. WhatsApp is also supported as an opt-in channel for reminders and quick logging. The full list of connected platforms is on our Connectivity page.
- What kind of data flows in from Apple Health, Google Fit, or my watch?
- Things like steps, exercise, active minutes, sleep, heart rate, HRV, weight, and workouts can flow into Habits so you don't have to log them twice. You stay in full control of which data types are shared and can disconnect at any time from your device's privacy settings.
- How does WhatsApp work with Habits?
- WhatsApp is an optional, opt-in reminder channel for things like hydration, steps, meals and your weekly summary — anything sensitive about your medication stays inside the app. Availability depends on your country and applicable health-data rules, and you can stop reminders at any time by replying STOP.
- Will Habits work with smart glasses, rings, or future health devices?
- That's the plan. We're designing Habits to be platform-friendly so new devices — smart glasses, rings, voice assistants, continuous glucose monitors — can plug in over time without disrupting how you use the app today.
- Do I have to connect any devices to use Habits?
- No. Connections are entirely optional. Habits works on its own and you can connect Apple Health, Google Fit, your watch, or WhatsApp whenever you're ready — or never.
Pricing & Billing
- How much does Habits cost?
- There's a free tier for the basics, plus Pro at $9.99/month and Premium at $19.99/month. See the pricing page for the full breakdown of what's included in each plan.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Refunds are handled by Apple's App Store and Google Play according to their policies. If you have a specific issue, contact us and we'll help you sort it out.
- Will pricing change in my local currency?
- Yes. Pricing is shown in USD by default, but the App Store and Google Play will charge you in your local currency at the equivalent regional price.
Privacy & Data
- Who can see my health data?
- Only you. Your health data is private by default and never sold to advertisers or third parties. AI works on your data without exposing your identity.
- Can I export or delete my data?
- Yes. You can export your full history at any time, and you can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app or by contacting support.
- Where is my data stored?
- Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Is my data used to train AI models?
- No. Your personal health data is not used to train third-party AI models. The AI features inside Habits work on your data to give you guidance, but your identity and personal details are kept separate. Read more on our Privacy page.
- What happens to data from connected devices like Apple Health or Google Fit?
- Connected data is treated exactly the same as data you log yourself: private to you, encrypted, never sold, and easy to disconnect or delete. Removing a connection stops new data flowing in immediately.
Account & Devices
- Will Habits sync across my phone and tablet?
- Yes. Sign in with the same account on any iOS or Android device and your data follows you.
- Does Habits connect with Apple Health, Google Fit, or my smartwatch?
- Yes. You can connect Apple Health and Apple Watch on iOS, and Google Fit and Wear OS on Android, so steps, workouts, weight, sleep, and heart data flow into Habits automatically. See the Connectivity page for the full list.
- I'm having trouble logging in — what should I do?
- Try resetting your password from the sign-in screen. If that doesn't work, send us a message from the contact page and we'll get you back in.
